Which Harry Potter Actor Had a Tonsillectomy?

Did you know that one of the main Harry Potter actors had to undergo a tonsillectomy? It was Rupert Grint who played Ron Weasley. This procedure was performed after filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was completed. It is unclear exactly why he needed to have the procedure done, though it probably is due to recurrent tonsillitis.


So it is not just muggles who get sick and need surgery... but also wizards!
