It is not uncommon that an ENT often sees patients suffering from reflux causing throat symptoms. As such, problems related to reflux are often encountered during reflux evaluation such as a hiatal hernia. Although ENTs do not "treat" hiatal hernias (general surgeons do), it is an often enough encountered problem in an ENT practice such that I decided to make a few videos related to what a hiatal hernia is and how it is corrected if it significantly contributes to reflux symptoms.
