Make Your Own Epipen for under $50 DIY
On August 31, 2016, Dr. Ryan Neuhofel uploaded a video describing how to make your own EpiPen using a 1cc syringe, needle, tape, and vial of epinephrine. The actual auto-injector device (Autoject 2) can be purchased for about $34 on Amazon here.
Keep in mind that making your own EpiPen is NOT recommended nor advisable. Needless to say, this mode of treatment is not FDA approved. However, this exercise is instructive.
