Fauquier ENT Social Media Update

About once per year, I like to reassess how Fauquier ENT is doing online ever since it was digitally born in 2005. And over the years, I am happy to say it has grown substantially beyond anything anyone would have expected. I would like to think it's because quality and trusted information is provided, but who knows?

Overall, the website now gets about 28,000 hits per day or almost one million hits per month. Since 2005, it has received more than 13 million views. Of these, there has been a tremendous shift in the past few years of traffic away from computers to smartphones which now encompass 56% of the traffic volume. 32% come from desktops and 12% from tablets. Vast majority of views come from organic search though direct hits from referring sites have remained steady (we have never placed ads to garner traffic).

Our blog is also doing well with over 1.6 million views total, currently averaging about 2,800 views per day.

Videos we have produced have also become quite popular averaging 30,000 views per day with occasional spikes to as many as 300,000 views in one day. Overall, our videos have been watched over 116 million times.

In regards to our social media subscribers, we aren't doing too shabby, some accounts clearly doing better than others.
